All goods shipped to Taiwan must have a value and description for the goods shipped. Duties assessed are based on the Cost, Insurance and Freight (CIF) value.
Taiwan customs now validate your recipient's name, address and parcel contents description as of the 8th May 2017.
When completing your parcel delivery booking form ensure you follow the below rules:

Enter the full name and address of your recipient.

Be specific about what items you are sending within your parcel. Vague items description will no longer be acceptable. For example, vague descriptions, such as “sample”, “parts”, “accessories”, “cloth”, “apparel”, “clothing”, “shoes”, “footwear”, ”garment”, “cosmetic”, “bag” are not acceptable. Acceptable descriptions need to detail specifically what the item is. For example; ‘’2 pairs of healed black boots size 3’’, ‘’sample of a kitchen tile 20cm x 20 cm x 20cm’’
Not adhering to the above customs rules for Taiwan will cause your parcel to be either delayed, disposed of or returned back to you.
