It's Parcel Pete here, signing on for today’s blog to give you an update on the latest charity initiatives I’ve been involved in.

The NSPCC

ipostparcels, part of the UK Mail Group, have been supporting the NSPCC for 2 years now. I recently presented a cheque for over £82,000 to the NSPCC at Featherstone Primary School in Birmingham by UK Mail. The money was all raised by staff at UK Mail through skydives, bike rides, marathons, cake bakes, dress down days, payroll giving and two major donations.

The funds raised will be making a big difference to their Childline service and workshops in schools like Featherstone Primary.

The Royal British Legion

I am so proud to announce that ipostparcels and UK Mail are now also supporting The Royal British Legion.

The Royal British Legion is a leading UK charity providing support to the serving and ex-Service community and their families. It’s also well known for organising the annual Poppy Appeal; remembering those who have made the ultimate sacrifice and raising money to help those in need today.

Employees from UK Mail will be taking part in various challenges and fundraising days in a bid to raise over £25,000 for the Legion and support our Armed Forces family.

Both charities are doing fantastic work and I look forward to taking part in many fundraising activities alongside collecting and delivering your parcels!
